DESCRIPTION

The NetSuite Functional Business Systems Analyst will act as the pivotal point of support and advocacy for internal NetSuite ERP/POS users, ensuring efficient system use and problem resolution. This role encompasses daily inquiry responses, system troubleshooting, and serving as the primary contact for NetSuite operations-related queries. The analyst will also conduct system design and configuration, manage escalations, and train end-users. A deep understanding of NetSuite workflows and reporting functions is essential. The analyst supports continuous learning and system optimization by creating reports and dashboards and maintaining a knowledge base. This position requires a keen analytical mind, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to translate user needs into practical system requirements, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and user experience within the campus Bookstore's NetSuite environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions. Knowledge of methods for evaluating, designing, and improving business processes.

  • Thorough Knowledge of related areas of IT. Knowledge of methods for evaluating, designing, and improving business processes.

  • Strong skills and knowledge of methodologies associated with analysis of processes and problems, information flow and architecture. Familiarity with the stages of software development, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

  • Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. Understanding the process and best practices for managing NetSuite upgrades and new releases, including testing new features and functionality in sandbox environments.

  • In-depth understanding and skill in process and systems requirement documentation standards, such as Use Case modeling, User Story creations and narrative description.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds. Capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams, including ITS, vendors, and business users.

  • Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrates problem solving skills.

  • Broad knowledge relating to software design.

  • Thorough knowledge of business processes and procedures.

  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Interpersonal and communications skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Ability to empathize with users, understand their needs, and translate those needs into system requirements or improvements.

  • Knowledge and understanding of NetSuite's functionalities, configurations, and integrations.

  • Familiarity with various NetSuite modules such as Financials, CRM, e-Commerce, and Supply Chain Management, and how they integrate within the overall system.

  • Basic understanding of NetSuite's reporting tools and dashboard capabilities, including saved searches, report creation, and analytics for data-driven decision-making.

  • Ability to empathize with users, understand their needs, and translate those needs into system requirements or improvements.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $74,300 - $134,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $35.58 - $64.42

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
