Job Description

We are currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler. This position is located on-site in Chatsworth, CA and can be hired as Temp to Hire or FTE.

Responsibilities:

-Work from assembly drawings, process instructions, manufacturing outlines, worksheets, parts lists, and other instructions, both written and oral.

-Perform installation/assembly of CPU's, DIMM's, HBA's, HCA's.

-Perform cabling, harnessing, crimping, soldering to company specifications and follows proper ESD requirements as required. Utilizes a variety of epoxies and compounds to perform required bonding and coating operations to satisfy drawing requirements.

-Utilize a variety of tools and equipment such as: Torque wrenches, microscopes, hand tools, meters, and necessary fixtures and tooling.

-Work with Manufacturing/Product/Quality Engineering to diagnose anomalies and recommend and/or perform rework to correct discrepancies.

-Bring to the supervisor's attention any condition that is abnormal.

-Responsible for proper documentation and serial number capture of parts installed/replaced and work performed on work instructions.

-Disposition nonconforming parts in conformance with Company specifications.

-Move subassemblies and final assemblies to stock or production line after the final inspection.

-Review build schedule with Assembly Supervisor and/or Assembly Department Lead.

Requirements:

-High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

-3 year or more of experience in a related industry preferred

-Experience with Electro-Mechanical Assembly preferred

-Blueprint reading

-Consistently meet established time standards on work assignments.

-Maintain production schedules or priorities established by Production Control.

-Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Pay rate: $21.60/hr. If FT, eligible for a 5% target bonus.
