This internship will start June 3rd and continue through at least the Fall semester.

The Employee Communications and Content Manager Intern will support in collaborating with internal customers, developing content, guiding on structure, and handling one-off stakeholder requests. The Intern will also assist with supporting important organizational initiatives, management of internal newsletters, generating digital analytics and metrics, curation and organization of company video channel. In addition, the Intern may also have opportunities to work with the technical support team to help facilitate any changes or urgent issues and support the communication to stakeholders.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Manage and modify company CMS on daily basis. Keep homepage updated with latest stories and updates
  • Monitor and manage CMS for content integrity and governance
  • Upload video content and manage channel curation
  • Develop and manage intranet content, perform editing and proofread all content to maintain clarity and effectiveness
  • Coordinate the preparation of creative needs, such as component images
  • Help organize, coordinate, and internally market employee events
  • Draft select communications
  • Stay abreast of the latest internal communications channels and feedback loops and identify new opportunities to reach employees

What You'll Bring:

  • Must be currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Experience with presentation design is a plus
  • Proficiency in Drupal or comparable Content Management System is a plus
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Must have the ability to handle various employee issues in a confidential and sensitive manner
  • Creativity and strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and passionate about providing an exceptional experience for our employees
  • Able to meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks
  • Must be comfortable with interfacing with senior stakeholders

Hourly Range: $17.00 - $38.00

The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
