The Director of Solutions Architects is responsible for leading a team of technical experts who provide technical support and guidance to Q-SYS customers throughout the lifecycle of their systems. They will work closely with the sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to ensure that Q-SYS solutions meet the needs and expectations of the market. The Director's team will lend their expertise to customers for supporting proof of concepts, standardization, technical evaluation and first point of triage support for customers.

Base Pay Range 152,000 - 210,000

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Solutions Architects across select markets
* Define and implement best practices and standards for pre-sales technical support and customer engagement
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to provide feedback and insights on customer requirements, market trends, competitive analysis, and product roadmap
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Q-SYS products and services, as well as industry standards and best practices
* Design and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and proof of concepts for Q-SYS solutions
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to customers and partners on Q-SYS solutions, including system design, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and optimization
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers
* Build and lead a highly qualified and performing Solutions Architects team, including budget, resources, and metrics
* Identify and pursue new opportunities for business growth and customer satisfaction

Other responsibilities include:
* Recruiting new technical talent into the organization
* Assisting with new hire onboarding and filling training gaps within the existing Solutions Architect team.
* Help with occasional special projects.
* Organizing and conducting effective team cadence meetings
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and supporting the Business Development team to achieve their objectives.

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the audiovisual, IT, or related industry, with at least 3-5 years in a technical leadership role
* Expert knowledge of Q-SYS products and services, as well as audiovisual, IT, and networking technologies and standards
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
* Highly customer-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technical teams
* Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, both domestically and internationally
* Certifications in QSC, AVIXA, Cisco, Microsoft, or other relevant technologies are preferred
* Possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and sales management software (ERP/CRM etc.)
* Ability to manage conflicting business priorities.
* Basic skills using AI powered platforms to improve efficiency
