The mission of the UCLA Center for Behavioral & Addiction Medicine is to advance the prevention and treatment of chronic illnesses, especially in communities with health disparities. Our research efforts include clinical trials of anti-addiction medications and HIV prevention interventions. This position will be responsible for recruitment and retention efforts and for administering study measures, entering data, screening calls and scheduling.
Salary Range: $28.04 - $45.11
Required:
Willingness and ability to maintain confidentiality of research participants.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with subjects, staff, supervisor, and community partners.
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
Organizational skills necessary to maintain records and coordinate other tasks as required.
Ability to work independently and report to supervisor(s) on a regular basis and in a timely manner.
Skill in speaking and writing to persons of diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and use of Internet. Experience in data collection, including interviewing.Willing to commute for meetings and recruitment/retention efforts.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish.
Experience providing referrals to community services to patients/research participants.
