  • Estimated annual base pay: $110,200 (minimum) - $137,700 (midpoint) - $165,200 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Operations Training Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Operations Training Manager owns the overall Operations training strategy for the Santa Clarita site. They are responsible for partnering with local leaders to drive a consistent approach, metrics, and monitoring of Operations training across all production areas. Additionally, they manage the Operations Foundational Onboarding program and Offline Skills Training content (including the coordination of the trainees, instructors, physical training spaces and some/all of the training delivery. This member works with the Global Operations Training Manager and the Operations Training Managers across sites to ensure consistent implementation of training curriculum to promote standardization across Woodward sites when practical. Responsible for the creation and deployment of new curriculum to support local and global needs.What You Will Be Doing
  • Manages the Operations Foundational Onboarding Program for the assigned site/s.
  • Serves as a key local leader to drive consistent training assessment, training design and impactful training delivery across the production organization.
  • Develops and reports on metrics to the Leadership team with feedback on the effectiveness of the training and defects found during audits.
  • Aligns learning goals with corporate strategy.
  • Communicates effectively and regularly to promote clear direction, good communication, teamwork, and people involvement.
What We Are Looking For
  • U.S. - bachelor's degree in arts/sciences required.
  • 2-5 years superior project management experience and skills with the ability to lead direct and or/matrixed teams to achieve results required.
  • 2-5 years of training curriculum development or instructional design experience in technical or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Manufacturing, machining, and high tolerance industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated solid leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in use of MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about learning, training, and development of Woodward members
