About the Position:

This position is responsible for building relationships with current clients and prospecting, qualifying, and generating new client leads to support the Business Development Team of Epic Government Strategic Business Unit (SBU).

Epic Government Staffing delivers healthcare solutions to federal, state, and local governments in the form of clinical staffing, medical administration, human performance optimization, and emergency medical response.

What you'll do:

  • Elevate relationships in client organizations utilizing the Epic Government's management team and increase penetration and sales within existing accounts.

  • Identify and secure new business and develop new contacts - ability to set meetings with new clients and/or existing clients.

  • Be knowledgeable and proficient in representing all Epic Government services to accounts and prospects.

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to identify appropriate potential clients.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities using opportunity databases such as GovWin and Bid-Prime; attending industry conferences and Industry Days; researching client agency procurement forecasts, etc.

  • Develop and present Gate Reviews to qualify opportunities for inclusion in the Business Development (BD) Pipeline.

  • Work with the Business Development team to develop and grow the BD Pipeline to consistently meet quarterly goals.

  • Develop and continuously improve presentation skills and use of presentation tools to highlight the organizations' capabilities and penetrate accounts/prospects.

  • Prepare and update account strategy documents as required (WinCenter, SalesForce, Excel Spreadsheet, etc.).

  • All work must be accurately documented in WinCenter/SalesForce.

  • Support the Business Development team by completing any tasks or projects needed.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Three years of business experience, preferably in the area(s) of healthcare staffing and solutions.

  • Ability to travel 25% of days available.

  • Experience in successfully identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunity leads, preferably in the healthcare industry.

  • Must be willing and able to travel within the assigned territory/area of business in order to generate and maintain sales.

  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment.

  • Strong active listening and interpersonal skills; strong orientation toward providing quality service to clients.

  • Must have solid sense of independence yet thrive in a team environment.

  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required.

  • Computer proficiency required.

Salary: $78,000 annually
