Shift - Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, OT as needed
What this job involves - Perform preventative maintenance calibrations on manufacturing process equipment and utility systems. Respond to emergency corrective maintenance requests on shift and off shift. Complete all required training applicable to the work being performed. Submit quarterly safety observations.
What is the day to day? Perform calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment, laboratory analytical equipment. Examples: Incubators, Freezers, Balances, Transmitters, Indicators, etc.
Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs,cGMPs, SOPs, and JLL policies.
Maintain an up to date cGMP training record
Raise the bar of your performance by taking ownership of your continuous improvement
Maintain an on-going two-way performance dialogue with area Chief Engineer
Notify Chief Engineer of any training needs and advise them of any factors impacting your ability to perform
Assist other staff members in raising the bar on their performance
Perform tasks in accordance with planning and scheduling
Conduct training to your co-worker
Required: 1+ years of Instrumentation/Calibration related work experience
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift 35 pounds
Good organizational skills
Effectively communicate thoughts and ideas through verbal and written form, including GMP documentation
Ability to work withcomputer-basedcontrols
Ability to read and understand technical material including operating manuals and standard engineering drawings
Preferred: Attended trade school or earned related degree
Experience working in a cGMP environment with established GMP procedures in the calibration and maintenance of utility,processand lab equipment
Experience working with CMMS Maximo
Familiar with LOTO (lock out tag out)
