The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced mid-level Senior Designer - Games/Action Figures/Plush with a passion for branding and graphic design across all visual communication and marketing materials that support the brand strategy and business objectives including key art, retail social, digital, video production, and more. Highly conceptual, overflowing with ideas, hands-on design creation, and capable of leading and designing with internal and external partners.

Must demonstrate a proven track record in developing strategically driven ideas and creative assets, with a strong understanding of graphic design, typography, as well as a passion for what we do every day - helping to foster the imaginations of our future leaders, it's all about the kids!

What Your Impact Will Be:

* Strong understanding of design principles is required.

* Design and development of big ideas and designs that wow, are innovative, on-brand, on trend and can translate across marketing communications- including print, digital, video, and social media.

* Maintain ownership of work from concept through final delivery while appropriately communicating with supervisor to ensure alignment.

* Collaborate and partner with team of copywriters, producers, marketing partners and fellow designers in a positive and productive manner.

* Prioritize multiple projects at any given time and efficiently and effectively deliver on time.

* A passion for what's happening in culture, knowledge, and fluency on social platforms.

* Excellent and persuasive presentation skills to gain buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization is required.

* Strong understanding of video production and social best practices and design principles is required.

* Take personal accountability and collaborate positively with team members including copywriters, producers, marketing partners, fellow designers, and with all our cross functional business partners.

* Maintain a self-motivated approach with a consistently positive attitude.

* Engage as a creative thinker, always seeking solutions.


What We're Looking For:

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

* Versed and on-top of current trends (design, art, pop culture, design & typography, advertising, social media, digital, entertainment, etc.)

* Ability to see large picture while not losing focus of details.

* High level concepting, knowledge or interest in launching new brands and products.

* Strong experience and knowledge in demand creation video production, social/digital first asset creation, and brand guide development.

* Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and strategies.

* Ability to art direct for logos, branding, video, photography, and illustration.

* Knowledge of global youth-focused design and marketing trends.

* Eager to learn from others and inspire peers.

* Experience in developing brand campaigns that are youth and shopper targeted and that span across multiple touchpoints.

* Show ability to quickly grasp new concepts and be a fast learner.

* Effectively operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills Required

* 4-7 years minimum in Graphic Design or similar field

* Design Firm/Agency Experience as strongly preferred.

* Experience with large-scale, global brands strongly preferred.

* Branding, graphic design experience required.

* Digital and Social experience preferred.

* Excellent computer skills: Adobe Suite, and all relevant software tied to graphic design, and content creation.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $76,800.00 and $110,000.00.

**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
