Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $18.00 - 19.00

What you'll do:

The job of the stock room clerk exists to perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments. Directs and coordinates the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received; additionally assists in other miscellaneous duties.

Detail oriented, able to work in a fast paced and sometimes demanding environment
Perform daily inventory counts of material needed to maintain the stock for the production of standard bodies
Enter the list of material needed into the system and send corresponding information to management staff for approval
Follows up on material that is pending or not yet ordered; obtains ETA's
Packages stock items to be shipped based on orders received
Prepare UPS labels for shipments and keep accurate records of all tracking numbers
Print out UPS daily ship out report and submit to production clerk for processing
Prepares pallets for packaging of all truck loads
Forward all bill of lading information with quote cost to accounting department
Contact shipping carriers to confirm pick up schedules and time frames
Unload and load all material and part arrivals with forklift or manually
Maintain a clean stockroom and safe work environment

What you need to be successful:

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Prior Experience: Stock Room Clerk, Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Computer Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MAS200
Technical Skills: Typing speed of 45 wpm, proficient in MS Excel
Industry-Specific Knowledge: N/A
Preferred: Proficient in MAS200 software
Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
