A large consumer products company in Los Angeles is looking for a Controller to join their team! The Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, audit coordination, preparing financial statements, implementing policies and procedures, and related accounting duties around cost and inventory accounting. What do you need for this Controller role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 20+ years of experience (with at least 7+ years in a senior leadership experience)
  • Must have experience in food and/or beverage industry
  • System implementation experience
  • A CPA would get you more attention
  • Advanced Excel
What will you do for this Controller role?
  • Create and maintain internal controls and standard production cost models
  • Lead the annual audit
  • Standard cost variance analysis and reporting
  • Analyze purchase price variance, overhead, SKU, and margins
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Assist with financial analysis for capital expenditures
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Lead process improvement initiatives
