Role Summary/Purpose:
The Manufacturing Engineer - Composites, is responsible for the technical development, oversight and improvement of manufacturing processes within the area of responsibility. Plans and presents engineering program and product manufacturing methods reviews for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Develops and requests design and specification change releases. Assesses and communicates impact of engineering initiatives to functional groups. This role is classified as Exempt for FLSA purposes and reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Director.
Essential Responsibilities:
The individual is required to be a supportive member of Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) and Quality System policies to provide a safe work place and eliminate conditions and behaviors which may cause work related illnesses and/or injuries while delivering quality product and services on time.
Pay range: $90,000 to $120,000 per year
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or HS Diploma/GED with relevant aerospace manufacturing/repair experience. 5+ years of technical experience in manufacturing of aerospace composites.
