Iteris is seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst to partner with the Director, HR Operations to plan, develop, and implement compensation programs, policies, and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. In addition, this role will analyze and administer the company's base pay, variable pay, long term incentives, executive compensation, 401(k) plan, equity plans, and employee stock purchase plan as well as project manage the annual merit/salary planning process. This position will also participate in compensation surveys and performs associated analysis which will ensure that requests for pay adjustments comply with company's compensation philosophy and are consistent with all applicable federal and state laws.

What you will be doing:

* FLSA classification analysis, salary survey participation and review, assist with annual performance reviews and bonus program processes.

* Document all compensation actions taken and maintains records of such actions to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and adequate internal controls.

* Research and prepare compensation market studies for analysis.

* Project manage various compensation programs [merit cycles, bonus payouts, equity administration, survey submissions, etc.]

* Partner with Finance and vendors to administer programs related to stock, 401(k), etc.

* Assist in the development of employee communication

* Manage and ensure data integrity within HRIS system [Dayforce] while assisting with troubleshooting data issues and maximizing use of reporting functionality

* Maintains employee confidence by keeping compensation and other sensitive information confidential.

* Demonstrate current knowledge of all compensation-related regulations and practices, including ERISA, ACA, FLSA, etc.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and keeping up to date on regulations and legal requirements.

* Collaborates with other members of the HR team to drive retention strategies through compensation programs that follow best practices and supports retention initiatives.

What you need to be successful in this role:

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or the equivalent combination of directly related education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

* Over three (3) years of experience project managing compensation programs in a fast and dynamic environment

* Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex data

* Advanced Excel skills highly preferred [V-look ups, pivot tables, etc.]

* Understanding of total rewards foundation [broad-base pay management, incentives, and equity practices]

* Proven track record to conceptualize and create analytical work product

* Strong attention to detail, with ability to handle multiple priorities/requests and change direction when needed

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence to effectively communicate complex topics with ease with a wide variety of audiences

* Demonstrated high level of personal integrity

* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

* Experience working in a publicly traded company is a plus

Iteris anticipates paying between $79,000.00 and $90,000.00 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
