Responsibilities

1 full time ACNP day shift with some night phone coverage. 7 on/7 off schedule. Responsibilities include rounding on patients in all areas of the hospital, including ICU, step down unit, and medsurg floors. Running codes, performing procedures. Performing new patient consultations.

1 part time nocturnist ACNP for night time coverage in-house. 4-6 days per month. Schedule is flexible. Responsibilities include rounding on selected ICU patients, admitting new patients from the ER, running codes, performing emergent procedures.

Position is 1099

Work schedule: 7 days on 7 days off

Full-Time or Part-Time Available

Qualifications

Master's degree Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (MSN)

Must be able to intubate patients (or willing to perform this function once trained) and manage critical situations and codes

Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)

Nurse Practitioner - NP (CA Board of Registered Nursing) ACNP only

Nurse Practitioner Furnisher (CA DCA) Current license to furnish medications in the State of California

DEA Certificate Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate issued by the U.S

If work in Hospital/Acute Care Setting must have Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) upon hire

Centinela Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $900-1,000 Daily Rate. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure
