A Welding Instructor will be responsible for the effective training of the Welding curriculum in the classroom and laboratory setting.

As a Welding Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. - Hands-On Training: Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations, ensuring students gain real-world experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various systems.

Education and Experience
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 3-5 years of practical work experience in the field including some combination of the following skills:
- MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored welding processes.
- Oxy-acetylene torch work
- Plasma cutting
- May require multiple welding certifications in the areas of SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and FCAW. Pipe Welding may require additional certifications.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and/or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) through American Welding Society, (AWS) or an equivalent is a plus.
- Brazing
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with students and fellow staff
- Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace.
