Senior Program Manager - Regional Service Center

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager - Regional Service Center who will own several new and existing programs as we continue to increase our regional service center (RSC) footprint. This leader will be responsible for managing large scale cross functional projects spanning from new systems/initiative launches (WMS, LMS, YMS etc.) to brand new RSC launches, to continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost in our operations.

What you'll do:

• Manage large scale projects to support scaling the RSC network.
• Work with cross functional teams to deliver projects on time and under budget.
• Own several programs for ongoing support and enhancement RSC network.
• Improve uptime for RSC systems.
• Oversee implementation of new warehouse systems.
• Support new launches in a growing RSC network.

What you'll bring:

• 5 years of project management experience in large scale projects.
• Experience in working with MS Project and other office tools.
• Experience coordinating, managing, and delivering projects in a distribution/fulfillment/manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and ability to influence peers.
• Bachelors degree in either engineering, science, IT or supply chain is required.
• PMP certification preferred.

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Have met with all RSC Managers, toured a few sites, and have a working knowledge of their business needs.
• Toured a few manufacturing facilities in order to understand their current business practices and how those impact the RSC network.
• Have gained experience with the current RSC network systems and reporting.
• Complete your Atkore immersion program.

Within 6 months, you'll:

• Own and deliver one large scale project.
• Have gained thorough experience with a large set of stakeholders in conducting cross functional projects at Atkore.

Within 12 months, you'll:

• Have worked with site leaders to launch several large-scale projects including new building launch, moving existing operations.
• Deep understanding of Atkore's business systems.
• Ownership of few programs for ongoing support and enhancements.
• Participated in a Kaizen to improve operations through the use of technology.
