Participate with Pre-Season Planning
Develop merchandise plans utilizing history, sales trends and market information to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory levels.
Leverage historical data to identify key learnings around product, pricing, and inventory and apply learnings to future seasons
Open-to buy and Ladder Plan Management: sales planning bottoms up/tops down, gm%, inventory, turn, and GMROI.
Forecast fabric for Living Spaces Manufacturing
Reconcile fabric forecasts with Item level forecasts.
Track Fabric in-stocks to help
Plan exits of unused fabrics remaining
Manage Mins across multiple DCs to fulfill 95% service levels
Work closely with Living Spaces Manufacturing Factory on financial planning, inventory management and production ability
Responsible for forecasting and communicating Living Spaces Manufacturing
Partner with Logistics and DC team to strategize inventory receipts before peak seasons.
Develop and maintains weekly/monthly/weekly merchandise reports
Analyze and assess the sales performance of product categories; revise in-season plans accordingly to maximize sales and profitability
Ensure planning and forecasting accuracy through knowledge of specific geographic store attribute performance through data analysis
Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with Merchandising, Store teams, Marketing, Visual and others to drive business results.
Oversee pricing strategies, including promotions and markdowns
Develop forecasts for new SKUs and strategize assortments from a financial perspective
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in merchandising or a business related field. 5+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in MS Office products including Office 365 and Word. Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.
Compensation: $68,640.00 - $91,620.00Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
