How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Field Service Engineer (FSE) works mainly at Customers' Sites. Assignments are set Domestically
and Internationally, where Customer Plants are located. Accountable for the daily service repair
needs of designated Turbo-Expander types of equipment/systems. Drive customer satisfaction
through Service Excellence. Working closely with the Aftermarket Team and Engineers. Helps
expedite the resolution of service issues and ensures high-quality service is delivered to
customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated equipment

* Maintaining daily communication with Customers Team directly to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.

* Sharing knowledge and coaching other members of Air Liquide Service team on an on-going basis

* Support the business to achieve product serviceability and reliability, quality trend analysis, productivity program input and execution, new program implementation and new product introduction support

* Leading Commissioning activities within assigned area, ensuring safety and quality measures are taken

* Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining field service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, ordering repair parts and managing cycle times

* Providing basic/refresher application training of staff on designated equipment

* Continually building expertise by staying abreast of R&D and new product introductions and other relevant equipment enhancements

* Providing assistance to the Assembly dept. at Company manufacturing location as needed

* This position involves working around machines, electrical machinery, chemicals, unprotected heights and operation of motor vehicles. Quality & EHS Specific Goals:

* Aware of and comply with the Air Liquide Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

* Meet Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.

* Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

* Ensure timely completion of Site reports

* Identify and report any unsafe workplace conditions or unsafe acts to the EHS Organization. Job Description: Page 1 of 4

* Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

* Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated.

EDUCATION

1) Bachelor's degree, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology OR 2) Associates Degree with 2 years of experience servicing Mechanical equipment or Military training on Mechanical equipment OR 3) High School Diploma/GED and 6 or more years of experience servicing Mechanical equipment EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Special Physical Requirements: must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time.

*Candidates must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity.

*Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
