The Department of Psychology in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles is seeking applications for a tenure-track position with the rank of Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology. We are seeking a strong scholar who has established a track record of research publications and grant support, or who has demonstrated potential for programmatic research and receipt of external research funding. Successful candidates should embrace working collaboratively both within the department and across disciplines. We are seeking scientists who examine developmental processes that occur across infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Ideal candidates should focus on any area of developmental inquiry, including cognitive, neurobiological, and socio-emotional development as well as developmental psychopathology, contexts of development, and identification of early risk factors. The department is building a culturally diverse intellectual community; we strongly encourage applications from all underrepresented groups.

Applicants must have a PhD degree in psychology or a related field. The annual base salary range for this nine-month position is $109,250 - $115,300.
