Job Description Summary | Under the supervision of the Production Manager, Technical Director, Assistant Technical Director, and Master Electrician and Technical Operations leads, the Theatre Technician will provide technical support for production related tasks in the College of Performing Arts. Level 1 is based on 1-3 year of general theatre duties as described above and 1-3 years experience in at least one discipline (carpentry, lighting, audio, props, stage management). Level 2 is based on 3-5 years of general theatre duties as described above and 3-5 years experience in a at least one discipline (carpentry, lighting, audio, props, stage management). Level 2 employees must demonstrate problem-solving skills and demonstrate autonomous knowledge and methods used in technical theater. In addition, Level 2 can only be reached with the unanimous approval of the PM and TD |
