Responsibilities
Princess Cruises is currently searching for a data savvy Marketing Analyst who thrives on digging into data and uncovering insights that will drive and improve our Princess Cruises direct marketing programs. The analyst will go beyond the obvious and be able to derive the 'why' behind the data and present these findings in executive level PowerPoint presentations. You will be part of a team that is on the leading edge of the cruise industry in implementing integrated marketing targeting and analytics with a new Customer Data Platform, Snowflake Data Warehouse and Tableau BI Platform.

*Be an expert on Princess guests and prospects by analyzing data to create a deep understanding of guest behavior, motivation and cruise spend
*Execute targeted email and direct mail list selections
*Write complex SQL queries to answer marketing questions
*Create production and ad hoc reports in Tableau and Excel by using SQL to query an Oracle database and a Snowflake data warehouse
*Translate personalization goals and use cases into guest email and direct mail campaign selections and orchestrate email and direct mail list pulls
*With an understanding of statistics and modeling, optimize customer segments for ROI and campaign response
*Develop and implement a methodology for attributing cruise bookings to multi-channel marketing campaigns
*Optimize direct mail and email targeting strategy by working with stakeholders to understand the goal of each campaign and turning the goal into targeted list selections
*Develop a thorough understanding of campaign performance logic and connect data across multiple data systems (Customer Data Platform, Siebel, Responsys, Adobe Analytics, and the corporate data warehouse)
*Design and implement A/B tests for marketing campaigns, provide targeted email and direct mail lists for tests and use statistical methods to analyze test results

Requirements
*Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Math, Statistics, Programming, Economics or a related field
*3+ years in an analytical position requiring SQL or equivalent masters level coursework
*Critical thinking and problem solving
*Ability to translate business questions into data driven solutions and executive level PowerPoints
*Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills
*Intermediate level SQL for database queries
*Statistical modeling in R, SPSS, SAS, Excel or equivalent
*Ability to manipulate complex data sets and numerical fluency
*Strong relationship building skills and ability to work collaboratively and enthusiastically within and across multiple departments
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint
*Experience with any combination of Tableau, Snowflake, Oracle DB2, Responsys, OBIEE, Seibel, Salesforce Interactive Studio and Customer Data Platforms preferred but not required
